Edwin is an experienced Lean Six Sigma leader with a passion for developing excellence in people and processes. Professionally recognised for his ability to deliver results whilst developing high-performing leaders and teams. His talents in Lean Six Sigma are supported by his strengths as a professional leadership and team coach.
His expertise stems from thirty years of experience including twenty-two years in 3M, a $34 BN Fortune 100 conglomerate. His leadership experience spans across manufacturing, supply chain, research and development and business roles within automotive, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, personal care, personal safety and general industry. His LSS experience spans twenty-five of those years as a Quality Manager, Green-Belt, Black-Belt (certified), Technical Manger utilising Hoshin-Kanri and DFSS as well as a LSS coach (certified). In his most recent position as EMEA Lean Six Sigma Coach Manager Edwin worked across multiple geographies and businesses developing and deploying Lean Six Sigma. This included training and coaching more than 700 customers, suppliers and senior leaders in continuous improvement, change management and behavioural change. Subsequently mentoring and coaching leaders and teams on Lean Six Sigma deployment and improvement programs providing significant benefits in cost, cash and business growth.
Furthermore, as an executive coach Edwins’ clients feedback his ability to partner with them to maximise their unique strengths and leadership capabilities. He is a member of the International Coach Federation, an accredited EMCC coach at Senior Practitioner level and has an MSc in Coaching & Behavioural Change from Henley Business School (final year dissertation on Intercultural Psychological Safety across 555 countries). His coaching style uses the latest evidence based coaching practices to in a creative process that inspires clients to maximise their personal and professional potential.
Edwin earned his original Batchelor of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the institute of Mechanical Engineers and institute of Engineering and Technology. subsequently seeking out experiences as a 3M certified LSS Black-Belt and LSS Coach working across EMEA. Latterly a trained executive and team coach with a professional certificate in executive coaching, a MSc in Coaching & Behavioural Change (Henley Business school) and an accredited EMCC Coach at Senior Practitioner level.
